are entirely dedicated to the ‘joy of the palate’ prepared in strict accordance with tradition.
The imagination of our cook and his staff allows you to enjoy special regional cuisine and spend a day unlike any other. Surrounded by greenery through the ancient flavours of hospitality you can appreciate all the healthy and genuine things we can offer you.

A day at the Casteldoria Agritourism and B&B will give you the chance to enjoy our food based on healthy and genuine home-made products as in the old days. Our cuisine, based on our farm products, is linked to seasonality and ancient local traditions: we also pay attention to your specific needs by including in our menus also those for celiacs and vegetarians.


Appetisers

The tasty cured meats, all of our own production: salami, sausages, prosciutto crudo, bacon, capocollo open the menu with a series of original and delicious starters.
Exquisite cheeses such as smoked ricotta and seasoned pecorino add great flavour to the menu.
The cheeses and fresh ricotta are savoured either as appetisers or combined with other foods served on our menus to become delicacies!

A new hot starter recently introduced on our menu is ‘Mazza Frissa’, a delicate cream cooked with semolina flour and then flavoured with Bottarga, Basil, Walnuts.
It is a typical Gallura recipe, a poor food used by the peasants to season pasta or to be recovered the next day, cold and to be taken to the countryside the meaning is ‘Soft as a belly even if fried’.

Depending on the season, our vegetable garden offers different vegetables on our menu in different ways: grilled, braised, pickled in oil and vinegar. Don’t miss the onions grown in Perfugas and boiled with red vinegar, served sweet and sour by us.

Pork and veal cut into small pieces cooked with sauces and vegetables is served as a hot starter. You can also enjoy stewed or roasted Coghinas River Eel.
The Corduletta di Agnello served with a slightly spicy sauce and peas was awarded BEST ANTIPASTO at the gastronomic competition between agritourism farms in Nulvi ‘SA ROSONITA “ E ORO”.


First courses

Our pasta is all homemade using traditional recipes from the past.
The tasty gnocchetti made daily with durum wheat flour served with tomato sauce or pork ragout. The ricotta ravioli served with tomato sauce and meat sauce. Gallura soup to be enjoyed with the typical bread layered between pecorino and cow’s cheese with the addition of spices, all soaked in mixed meat broth.

Main Courses

Among the tasty main courses are:
Roast Porcetto cooked in the oven with a side of potatoes, Roast Lamb or Kid, depending on the season.
The tasty ‘Tagliata’, that is, veal cooked on the grill and served with seasonal vegetables such as artichokes, rocket and seasonally with asparagus, porcini mushrooms and ovules.
This delicious second course was also awarded BEST SECOND at the gastronomic competition between agritourism companies in Nulvi ‘SA ROSONITA “E ORO”.


Desserts

Desserts include Seadas made of puff pastry filled with stringy cheese flavoured with lemon, fried and served with honey or sugar.

By reservation it is also possible to taste Seadas for Celiacs suitable for people with this need.
In summer we also serve excellent seasonal fruit ice cream: wild blackberries, prickly pears, figs, watermelon.

Sardinian sweets prepared by us such as Ricottelle, Formaggelle at Easter time, I Papassini, I Biscotti conclude our menu delighting the palate of each of our guests.

Liqueurs

Among the liqueurs we find Mirto, Filu Ferru, Limoncino, Fennel, Lentischio liqueur (Chessa) all handmade.
